I currently offer two approaches to the admissions counseling process with end-to-end packages and a few one-off tasks priced individually. I prefer a personalized and integral approach, where I have the opportunity to really get to know a student well enough to make the best recommendations possible. I will always offer an honest assessment and never make promises I can’t keep.

I do not normally offer an hourly rate except under special circumstances. All services include access to unlimited meetings as necessary and include VAT.

 Services

  • Covering a timeframe of around 18 months, this package is designed to provide support throughout the entire selection and application process from start to finish, with the most support during the final half of 11th and first half of 12th, but continuing through the final rounds of EU and UK applications (years 12 and 13). Ideally our work would begin with a conversation about IB/A-Levels/AP classes, extracurricular activities and the best summer activities in 10th grade / Year 9. I have already had students who were unable to apply to their desired programs because they chose the wrong IB courses.

    Also included is a personal strengths assessment and coaching based on the full 34 CliftonStrengths™ profile or the Self-Portrait™ profile power traits assessment.

    • IB/A-Levels/AP class selection + extracurriculars + best use of summer

    • College list building

    • University application completion for up to 10 schools (UCAS and CAO count as 1 each)

    • Essays, motivational letters, and Letters of Recommendation preparation/review for up to 10 essays or supplemental question sets

    • Standardized test strategy and scheduling assistance

    • Interview Preparation

    • CV production

    • Tutor referral if needed

    • Strengths assessment and coaching

    • Access to a professional software suite for managing the end-to-end application process - CounselMore.

    • Financial offer review

  • Curation and refinement of a balanced university list. This entails unlimited meetings to determine interests and selection criteria and overall assessment of probability of acceptance.

  • Brainstorming and unlimited revisions of up to 3 essays or motivational letters. For any school and country combination.

  • Mock interviews tailored to individual schools and programs. Includes strategy meetings and 3 interview sessions with follow up reports.

  • Design and development of one curriculum vitae.

CliftonStrengths Assessment

The CliftonStrengths assessment can be a valuable tool for teens making important decisions about their future careers and university studies. By identifying their unique combination of talents and strengths, we can gain valuable insights to guide their career and educational choices.

The assessment measures 34 different strengths across four domains - Executing, Influencing, Relationship Building, and Strategic Thinking. Knowing one's top strengths provides a solid foundation for personal and professional development. We can use this knowledge to:

  • Choose university majors and courses of study that allow them to apply their strengths

  • Identify potential areas of study or careers to further investigate and explore
